We are scheduling shower volunteers to assist in North Carolina for Hurricane Helene rebuild.
We want to continue our relief efforts by partnering with NC Baptists in their desire to repair at least 1,000 homes affected by the storm. We are still working out the details but plan to begin in January 2025. Needing 2-4 volunteers each week to help support our teams in the area.
We are asking Missouri Baptist shower volunteers to help us meet this goal.
When: January 2, 2025-June 30, 2025 with the possibility of extending
Where: Western NC, most likely Burnsville, NC
Cost: Mainly travel, food will be provided at the site and housing is bunk room style (bring your own bedding). MODR will provide a secondary, temporary, accident policy (this is not health insurance, but available to help offset potential costs associated with accidents)
